The power of remixing offers two things:
#1 it's faster and easier to finish a song. You already have the majority of sound design done and stems at your disposal.
#2 you tap into the fan base of the artist you remix. This is a great opportunity to build your own fan base.
Step 2 can also go the other way around. An established artist can decide to help an up and coming artist by remixes that artists music. This is the case with Corvo's "Away Again" which was remixed by Julian Javan.
Within the first 24 hours the remix received 1500 streams which in return helps build Corvo's fan base.
