Julian has been the best teacher I've ever had for mixing/mastering. He does not lie in between, but makes sure to give you the necessary information needed to deliver a good mix. He has a lot of experience and it is very clear to feel in his teaching. Finally, I would like to mention that Julian has a whole lot of specialist knowledge that can be difficult to gather on the internet if you don't have a mentor like Julian. He is very good at putting together a meaningful process that ensures that you get all aspects of the art of mixing and mastering sound.

Julian is a super competent and very empathetic teacher who has a high musical, artistic and technical approach to music production. He is up to date with the sound of the times in the commercial part of the music business - i.e. how a mix should sound on a pop chart in 2023, but in addition he also shows the process of how to build an easy workflow and organize your mixes. Julian thinks about sound in the context you want to achieve, which embraces both genres, other platforms and formats such as theatre. He is super good at explaining and has a lot of patience for the process you are in.
